Welcome to our Monday Mustang Message for the week of October 31 – November 4, 2022!
- A big thank you to students who brought their spookily-fantastic decorated pumpkins this morning for the annual PTA Pumpkin Parade, as well as to the PTA parents who volunteered to help with the event! And another big thank you to Brian and Erica Arche for taking pictures and video. Teachers will show the students the video in class so they can all see it!
- On Wednesday, November 2, we will be learning about and honoring El Día de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead). Our teachers are making an altar (ofrenda) for the school, and our Dual Language Immersion Program students will be going over to the Midvale Park to clean up the cemetery in the afternoon.
- The Big Smiles Dental Clinic will be here on Thursday, November 3. They may only be able to come one day this time, so they will see as many students as they can. Thank you to the parents who have turned in forms for the clinic.
Looking Ahead:
- Next Thursday, November 10, will be Picture-Retake Day. Forms will be sent home with students to complete if they missed Picture Day in September. If you just want re-takes, please have your student bring in their previous pictures from September when they come to school that day.
- For those families in need of extra food support over Thanksgiving, applications for assistance are available in the school office.
