Monday Mustang Message – November 14-18, 2022

Monday Mustang Message
November 14-18, 2022

  • Families, you received a Skylert from Principal Reynolds last night letting you know that attendance at school has been quite low this year. This has a huge impact on learning. We all need to work together to get students here at school on time, all day, every day, so they can learn and grow! Today, students who were here in school were entered in a drawing to win prizes. Two families won gift cards, and one student from each grade was chosen to take home a prize. We will be doing this again, so make sure your students are “present to win!”
  • Tomorrow, Tuesday, is our Mobile Food Pantry. Students and/or families of Midvale Elementary students may come at 3:05pm to get a bag of food items (one per family) from the Utah Food Pantry. The bags can be up to 20 pounds so please come to assist your student if possible. A big Thank You to AARP for sponsoring our school’s food pantry!
  • Our next Moms Matter Session is this Friday, November 18, at 8:10am. We invite moms, stepmoms, grandmothers, aunties, and other mom-figures to join us. Enjoy a light breakfast with your students from 8:10-8:25 when the bell rings. At that time students will head to class and we will have Miss Christie, our school counselor, and Miss Josie, our school social worker, talk about the topic of Bullying. After that, Principal Reynolds also has a few words to share with us. We look forward to having you join us!

Looking Ahead:

  • Next week, we have two full days of learning on Monday and Tuesday, and then we have Thanksgiving Break on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Let’s make sure everyone is here on Monday and Tuesday!
