- Thank you to all of the families who came to our celebration on Friday! What a great way to kick off our day!
- Families, we would like to provide a few reminders about breakfast:
- Breakfast and lunch are free for all Midvale Elementary School students. Family members may purchase a meal for themselves. Because of federal funding restrictions, only our students are able to receive and eat the free meals. If other family members (parents, siblings) are eating the food without purchasing a meal, we could potentially lose this funding for all of our students. Thank you for helping us with this issue.
- Please encourage your students to eat school breakfast between 8:00-8:20am. We have many students who are choosing to go outside and play instead of eating breakfast, and then come in to pick up a meal after the bell rings. This results in fewer breakfast choices for students (hot meals are only served between 8:00-8:20) and long lines after the bell rings, in addition to delayed or missed classroom instruction. Thank you for your assistance in this matter as well.
- Tuesday is our FRESH PRODUCE MARKET at 2:40pm! A parent/guardian can pick up a bag of fresh fruit and vegetables at no cost.
- Tuesday is also a Fundraiser Night for the PTA at Café Zupas at 1400 Fort Union Blvd. from 4:00-9:00pm. Let the cashier know that you are with Midvale Elementary, and a percentage of your bill will be provided by Café Zupas to the school’s PTA.
- Friday is Free Family Skate Night at Classic Fun Center from 5:00-9:00pm.
