- Canyons School District recognizes the importance and wants to celebrate Digital Citizenship for students of all ages as they navigate this increasingly digital world! To highlight this essential skill set, Digital Citizenship Week will take place October 16-18, 2023. This year students will be engaging in activities and discussions that empower students to seek balance in their technology use and be aware of their online actions. Connect with us throughout the week!
- Tuesday is our FRESH PRODUCE MARKET at 2:40pm! A parent/guardian can pick up a bag of fresh fruit and vegetables at no cost.
- Fall Break is Thursday and Friday of this week, and there is also no school for students on Monday, October 23. Students will resume classes on Tuesday, October 24.
Looking Ahead:
- Monday, October 23: Teacher Work Day, No School for Students
- Tuesday, October 24: Family STEAM Night, 6:00 – 8:00pm for grades PK-5. Plan to join us for fun activities for all!
- Friday, October 27: Halloween Costume Parade, 9:30am
- Families are invited to watch the parade outside in front of the school. We will start inside and then move the parade outside for you to wave and take pictures as students walk by. More information is forthcoming.
- Please note that classroom Halloween parties will take place on the same day as the parade, Friday, October 27. We will not have costumes or parties on October 31 in order to maintain a full day of instruction and learning.
