Family Teacher Conferences
Families, if you haven’t yet done so, please sign up for a time to meet with teachers for conferences for your student! Conferences are only a week away! Teachers have sent out their schedules on ParentSquare so look for those messages to sign up.
Street Closure
Alta View Drive and Oak Street may be closed on Tuesday, February 18, for construction. Please be prepared to take other routes.
Family Matters Friday
Families, please join us with your students for donuts and an activity on Friday, February 21, at 7:30am.
PTA vice chair and parent Erica Arche will be here to talk about what the PTA is and how families can get involved in supporting our school!
7:30-7:50 am – Sign in, donuts, activity7:50-8:15 am – Interactive discussion about the PTA8:15 am – First bell; students line up with their classes.
Parents and guardians may join their students in the classrooms until 8:50 am (with a visitor badge). Please refrain from bringing younger children to classrooms to limit interruptions and distractions for our students.
Spanish interpretation will be available; if you need another language, please contact the front office as soon as possible so this can be arranged.
Internet Access for Families
Families, if you do not have home internet access, please contact Heidi Sanger, Community Schools Facilitator, or our front office to request assistance in obtaining a code for free internet through Xfinity Internet Essentials.
If you need assistance helping your child access online learning opportunities such as Lexia or Dreambox at home, please reach out to your child’s teacher or contact Heidi Sanger.
Scholastic Book Fair
Next week, the Midvale Elementary PTA is hosting our annual Scholastic Book Fair at Family Conferences on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Families who attend conferences will receive a book fair coupon for each Midvale Elementary student. Please join us and add to your child’s home library!
