- Review and approve a proposal to move funding from the Cell Tower to Principal’s Discretionary funds

All voted in favor; none opposed. Motion passed.
- Land Trust / TSSP updates and review including a final report from the 24-25 school year
Land Trust
Spent: $37,328.48
Remain: $72,183.50
TSSP
Spent: $93,316.08
Remain: $78,759.10
Carolee reviewed the goals and outcomes from last year. We did not meet all of the goals but did show growth/improvement.
Carolee reviewed the funds spent and remaining under both Land Trust and TSSP. She will keep watching those to ensure that we spend appropriately and to stay under the threshold.
She is anticipating that we won’t get as much funding next year due to the decrease in enrollment this year.
We have started discussions with BLT about goals for next year, and adjusting them to reflect what the teachers are actually teaching each day versus the benchmarks on specific standards. We are hoping for draft goals next month; they are due in April.
- School Safety Report
In December we did a secure drill. January’s drill is a fire drill. We have been rotating the times of the drills to hit “inconvenient” times to better prepare students and teachers. The State is providing a first aid kit and a “stop the bleed” kit for each classroom; staff are all being trained on “stop the bleed.”
- Coverage for February 2nd meeting
Steve will not be in attendance but we should have enough members who can attend.
- Other Items:
- Other topics to present to the council
The Tyler Library will be moving to the City Park in the next year or two! This will be great for our community!
We should have our school “grade” by next month’s meeting.
We received an email from USBE congratulating us for the exceptional progress our school demonstrated in advancing literacy during the 2024-25 school year, with the percentage of students reading on grade level in kindergarten growing by 10% or more.
Discussed that we already start planning for next year around this time of year.
- Adjourn
Hillary motioned to adjourn; Carolee seconded. Meeting adjourned at 4:42pm.
Next meeting: February 2, 2026
