School Community Council Meeting

In Attendance: Steve Brown, Hillary Herbopelis, Assistant Principal Emily Willson, Heidi Sanger

Unable to attend: Lyndzi Elsmore, Jason Baxter, Kikey Fernandez, Carolee Mackay

Agenda Items:

  1. Welcome!

Steve called the meeting to order at 4:07pm.

  1. Discussion and vote on approval of the March 2 meeting minutes

Minutes will be reviewed at the next meeting as we do not have enough members to vote. 

  1. Land Trust / TSSP updates

LandTrust has $45,827.17 remaining

TSSP has $45,188.41 remaining

Emily stated that things are looking good for our budget. The plans for next year have been submitted to the District and State with all of the necessary signatures.

  1. School Safety Action Plan Follow-up

Emily reported that safety information has been sent out to families on ParentSquare; many individual conversations have been had with individuals as well at pick-up and drop-off. Emily submitted the follow-up to the District as well.

  1. School Safety Report

The Great Utah Shake-Out is happening on Thursday, April 16, at 10:00am, along with the rest of the State! Also, we are in compliance with the State’s expectations and have had a drill every month this school year. Our last drill is in May; it will be a Lockdown drill.
