  1.     Land Trust / TSSP updates

Carolee reviewed the funds that were actually distributed.

TSSA: 154,685.92 (difference of 8,795.09)

LandTrust: 120,165.21 (difference of 26,180.39)

These are different numbers than projected (difference listed above). Carolee reviewed the current plan. She asked for suggestions on what we could spend the extra funds on since we will need to do an amendment. Discussed some options. Agreement was to focus on adding “people” – i.e.  interventionist/assistants.

Carolee will review with BLT and have the amendment ready for the next meeting to review and vote. Steve expressed appreciation for everyone being here to support these efforts.

  1.     School Safety Report

We had new striping in the parking lot completed finally!

The fire drill for the August was completed; it went well though we have since redrawn some exits/evacuation routes for classes.

The drill for September was completed; it was a Lockdown drill and it went well. Steve described the responsibilities of the SCC in regards to school safety.

    1. Other Items:
Other topics to present to the council

Reviewed upcoming training dates.

Carolee noted the decline of enrollment in general and how it has impacted Dual Immersion class sizes. The CSD school board will be discussing this in its next meeting, and there is a parent meeting on October 6 here at the school. (This has been changed: District meeting October 7, School meeting October 13.)

  1.     Adjourn

Motion to adjourn was made by Jason, seconded by Steve R. All were in favor, none opposed.

Meeting adjourned at 5:15pm.
