Midvale Mustang Message – August 28 – September 1, 2023

  • Our Kindergarteners are practicing their colors, and the whole school is invited to wear the color of the day! This week, Monday is RED, Tuesday is YELLOW, Wednesday is BLUE, Thursday is GREEN, and Friday is ORANGE.

  • Tuesday, August 29, is our FRESH PRODUCE MARKET! We begin at 2:40 pm in front of the school.  A parent/guardian can pick up a bag of fresh fruit and vegetables at no cost to our school families.  Please note: this is first come, first served with limited supply. Thank you to NBA Cares, First Utah Bank, Zions Bank and Rancho Markets.

  • Student Handbooks are going home with the youngest MES student in the family. Please review the handbook with your student, and sign and return the agreement for EACH student.

  • Information is going home this week about our Big Smiles Dental Clinic. If you would like your child to be seen by the dentist here at school, you are invited to apply using the form or going to the website at www.MySchoolDentist.com. The Big Smiles team will be here on September 25, 26, and 27, so please return completed forms as soon as possible.

  • Please note: To ensure the safety of all students, Midvale Middle School students must remain off of the Midvale Elementary campus until the elementary bell rings at 3:05pm.  Designated waiting areas are shown in green on the map below.  Please make a plan with your middle school students if they pick up a younger family member from the elementary school. If your middle school student is not picking up a younger family member at the elementary school, they should head directly off of the school campuses. Thank you for helping us keep all students safe.

Next week:

  • No School on Monday, September 4, in recognition of Labor Day.
