Thrive Time Focus of the Week
During Thrive Time lessons this week we’ll learn that being a good listener means waiting our turn to speak, especially when we feel our emotions escalating or getting bigger. When we face problems, it’s important to think about the consequences of our choices and accept responsibility for our actions with integrity – which means doing the right thing even when no one is watching. Let’s make it a great week by listening without interrupting, considering the results of our choices carefully, and showing integrity in everything we do!
Attendance Winners!
Before winter break, we celebrated our students who had exceptional attendance as well as those who showed growth in their attendance goals. We had a lot of winners; this group is just a few of our Perfect Attendance achievers!
Will there be more prizes? YES!
Be in school, on time, every day, for the chance to win prizes but even more so, to grow and learn. You can do it, Mustangs!

Free Internet
Free Internet is available through a partnership between Canyons School District and Comcast Xfinity’s Internet Essentials program for new subscribers. Please be aware that Comcast Xfinity is not available in all residences/apartments. Please reach out to Heidi Sanger or the school office to inquire about eligibility for this service.
Free Groceries!
Our next opportunity for free groceries at our monthly Mobile Food Pantry is Tuesday, January 13, at 3:05pm. Students and/or families can pick up a bag of groceries at that time, right after school. Please be aware that it is heavy so plan accordingly!
Digital Citizenship January Focus
Being informed means asking better questions, checking sources, and thinking critically about what we see online. When students learn to evaluate information, they build the foundation for responsible citizenship – in and out of the classroom. https://cnyns.org/4p5IyJ9
