March Reading Month continues! Keep encouraging your students to read and mark down their minutes on their weekly Reading Logs. The classes with the most minutes will earn a classroom party!
Our next Tuck You In Tuesday video is coming tomorrow night! Miss Heidi, Community Schools Facilitator, and Karen Rodriguez, Family Learning Center Teacher, will be reading a book to us, so check in on ParentSquare and/or Facebook to listen to the story in English or in Spanish.
Also tomorrow night is the PTA Spirit Night at Chick-Fil-A in Midvale from 5-8pm. A portion of the proceeds from the evening will come to our school, so just let them know that you are with Midvale Elementary School! You will see some people you know there!!!
If you haven’t already, please complete and return your CAYCI Parent Surveys this week. If you completed the online survey for Midvale Elementary School, please let me know so we can reward your students with a prize! All students whose parents complete the survey will also be entered into a drawing for bigger prize. Students in grades 3-5 will be taking their own survey in school this week or next.

Thursday, March 30:HEAT Outreach Event 8:30 am – 12:30 pm at Midvale Elementary School
- The HEAT Program can help with utility bills. You will need to bring: current photo ID, social security cards for everyone living in the home, recent utility bills, proof of income for last calendar month for EACH adult.
- NOTE: Midvalley Elementary School, 217 E 7800 S, Midvale, is also hosting a HEAT Outreach Event on Tuesday, March 21, from 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
April 3-7: Spring Recess – No School
