Two Opportunities for Free Groceries!
Our lastĀ Fresh Produce MarketĀ will be available tomorrow, Tuesday. A parent/guardian can pick up a bag of fresh fruit and vegetables at no cost. It is first come, first served; we have a limited number of bags. The bags are typically ready to go by 2:00pm. We will have them inside in the entryway and then move them to tables outside so please check both locations.
We will also haveĀ FREE GROCERIESĀ available at our Mobile Food Pantry, sponsored by the Utah Food Bank and AARP. Students and/or families may pick up a bag of free groceries starting at 3:05pmĀ insideĀ the school. Remember, these bags can be heavy so please plan accordingly.
Parking Lot Safety: PLEASE READ
Families, please help us keep all students safe before and after school by following the parking lot guidelines:
Parking Lot and Loading/Unloading Procedures
- Obey ALL traffic signs, drive slowly, and pull all the way forward.Ā DO NOT drop students off in the bus lane in front of the flag pole!
- All students should enter or exit the vehicleĀ on the passenger side, in the unloading/loading zone next to the sidewalk. No vehicle doors should open on the driverās side of the vehicle.Ā
- Students are not to walk between or behind stationary cars.Ā Use crosswalks and sidewalks only.
- Drivers must remainĀ inĀ the carĀ unless the vehicle is parked in a designated parking stall. Parents who need to escort students into the building must use a parking stall.Ā Please do not park in the designated disability parking spots unless you have official disability plates or a displayed placard.
- Drivers should have students ready to exit the vehicle when they reach the pick-up/drop-off area. When students have safely exited the vehicle, the driver must leave immediately to allow others to drop off in a timely manner.
- Utahās Seat Belt Law: ALL passengers must wear seat belts in all seating positions and children up to age 8 must be properly restrained in a car seat or booster seat.Ā Children under 13 should ride in the back seat for maximum safety!Ā https://clickit.utah.gov/
Please be respectful of school staff directing traffic in the parking lot. They are there to keep kids safe. Remember, kids are always watching what we do as adults and how we treat others!
