- This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! The PTA has shared a few ways you can help us celebrate our AMAZING TEACHERS!:
- Tuesday, May 3: Draw a picture of your teacher
Wednesday, May 4: Compliment Day-tell your teacher all the things you like about them
Thursday, May 5: Write your teacher a thank you note
Friday, May 6: Surprise your teacher with their favorite drink, a favorite treat, a card, or anything that makes them feel special.

- Tomorrow is our next Tuck You In Tuesday. Assistant Principal Caldwell will be reading a special story to us all. Check back on ParentSquare or social media at 7:00pm or later to listen!
P-EBT Information (Pandemic – Electronic Benefit Transfer) https://jobs.utah.gov/covid19/pebt/
Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) can help you purchase food if your children have temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price school meals due to school closures from COVID-related emergencies or school absences during the 2021-2022 school year.
P-EBT will work differently this year because of fewer COVID-related school closures and absences.
Midvale Elementary is considered 100% Free and Reduced Lunch, therefore, ALL Midvale Elementary families qualify for P-EBT funds. Families will be reimbursed for the 7 remote learning days during the 2021 – 2022 school year ($7.10 per student, per remote learning day).
If a student missed school due to an excused COVID-19 absence on a day when the school was NOT closed, an application to receive the P-EBT benefit for those days must be submitted to the school by Friday, May 6. Please visit the Canyons District Nutrition Services Page at https://www.canyonsdistrict.org/depts/nutrition-services/ (scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the boxes next to the Pandemic EBT Application – the first one is in Spanish, the second in English) to complete the application and turn into the school OR visit the Midvale Elementary front office on the following days for assistance:
