It's the Last Week of School! Let's make it GREAT!

Midvale Traditions End-of-Year Celebration
Tuesday, May 27, 2025
1:45 – 2:45pm
Midvale City Park Amphitheater
Each grade level will be singing songs to celebrate all that they have learned during the 2024-25 school year. Students will walk over to the park and sit together with their class at the amphitheater.
Families, we would love to have you join us! You are invited to bring blankets or lawn chairs and sit in the open area behind the students to watch the performances.
Important Notes:
If you would like to assist your student’s class in walking to and from the park, please check with your student’s teacher prior to 5/2/24 and make sure to complete the Canyons District Background Check.
For the safety of all students, classes will be returning to the school after the performance where families can pick students up as usual. Students may not be checked out at the park.

Lost and Found Items
Families, please make sure to look through all of our Lost and Found area to collect any of your student’s lost items. We have coats, hoodies, backpacks, lunch boxes, and so much more. If you do not pick up your student’s items, they will be donated on the last day of school.

Field Day Volunteers Needed!
On May 28 and 29, each grade level will go outside for about an hour for our annual Field Days! 1st, 2nd, and 5th grades have Field Day on Wednesday, May 28, and Kindergarten, 3rd and 4th grades have Field Day on Thursday, May 29.
We are still looking for volunteers to help us during each grade level field day. If you are available to help, please contact Heidi Sanger on ParentSquare or in the front office.
A few notes for our potential volunteers:
- All volunteers must have a completed background check through the District: https://www.canyonsdistrict.org/depts/external-relations/volunteer/
- All volunteers must sign up on the sign-up list in ParentSquare (or contact the office and we will assist you in signing up).
- Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing and shoes and be prepared for the weather and some physical activity (bring sunscreen, water, etc.).
- Volunteers will be assigned to a specific game/activity facilitated by a school staff member.
- Volunteers may not bring other children along for their volunteer shift.
