Thrive Time Weekly Focus
This week, during Thrive Time Lessons, we’re learning that our bodies give us clues about how we’re feeling, and we have special tools like belly breathing and positive self-talk to help us handle nervous feelings, especially during tests. Let’s make our week wonderful by practicing our coping skills – taking deep belly breaths when we need to feel calm, using words like ‘I can do this,’ and remembering that everyone gets nervous sometimes, but we have the tools to handle it!
Free Groceries
Tomorrow, Tuesday, is our next opportunity to get free groceries through the Utah Food Pantry. Midvale Elementary students or families can come and pick up a bag of groceries at 3:05pm.
Digital Citizenship Tip of the Month
Devices can be distracting — even for us adults! Use your next drive to chat with your kids about balance. Try a Common Sense Carpool Conversation podcast to get the conversation started. https://tinyurl.com/carpool3-5
