Monday Mustang Message

October 2 – 6, 2023

  • Thank you to all of the families who were able to attend Family Conferences last week, whether in person or by phone! It is a great start to the family – teacher partnership to support students! We also hope everyone had a great long weekend!

  • Good attendance is so important for your student to stay on track for learning! Let’s keep up our pace – it’s so amazing to see so many of our kids in school and growing and learning! If you do find that your student is sick, please call the Attendance Line at 801-826-8743 to report the absence so we can make sure to mark it “excused.”

  • Tuesday is PICTURE DAY! Please remember to send the completed form with your student or complete the online form.

  • Tuesday is also our FRESH PRODUCE MARKET at 2:40pm!  A parent/guardian can pick up a bag of fresh fruit and vegetables at no cost.

  • You will not want to miss Thursday evening’s Pop Up Maker Faire for ages 3-8 years old here at Midvale Elementary School, sponsored by the STEM Center of Utah. Join us between 6:00 – 8:00pm for so many fun and engaging activities for your students!

Looking Ahead:

  • Tuesday, October 10:
    • Free Fresh Produce Market at 2:40pm for up to about 50 families!
    • Free Groceries from the Utah Food Bank’s Mobile Food Pantry at 3:05pm for up to about 120 families! Please join us!
  • Wednesday, October 11: Mobile Medical and Vision Clinics from Utah Partners for Health
