Monday Mustang Message – September 19-23, 2022

Welcome to our Monday Mustang Message for the week of September 19-23, 2022! It’s finally starting to feel a little bit like fall!

  • A few reminders about before-school supervision and breakfast:
    • Breakfast in the cafeteria begins at 8:00am. There is supervision INSIDE the cafeteria. However, OUTSIDE supervision does not begin until 8:10am.
    • Hot breakfast options are available from 8:00 – 8:20am. Please encourage your students to get their breakfast at that time. The more students we have get breakfast before school, the more in-class instruction time is available to your students.
  • Our first Moms Matter session of the year is this Friday, September 23! Moms, Stepmoms, Aunts, Grandmothers, Mother-Figures, this is a time for YOU! For our first meeting this year, we want to find out what matters most to YOU. We will chat and plan for the rest of our times together this year! Please join us!

    • 8:10 – 8:30        Light breakfast and PRIDE moments for Moms and Kids

    • 8:30 – 9:00        Mom Talk
      * Spanish interpretation will be available; please contact the office for other languages so interpreters can be arranged.

Looking Ahead:

  • Teachers are sending out messages to families on ParentSquare about signing up for Family Teacher Conferences on September 28-29. Please make sure to sign up for a time to meet with teachers to talk about your student’s progress! Conferences can be virtual (by Zoom or telephone) or in-person.

  • CNS will be here for their Boo to the Flu Immunization Clinic during Family Teacher Conferences. Children and adults may get their flu shot at the clinic for free. If you do have insurance, please bring that information with you.

  • Thursday, September 29, is an EARLY RELEASE DAY. The end-of-school bell will ring at 1:25pm.

  • There is NO SCHOOL on Friday, September 30.
