Thrive Time Weekly Focus
In Thrive Time lessons this week, we’ll focusing on how supportive relationships make our school stronger, especially when we work together as a team and communicate with respect. When we face challenges, having positive relationships helps us navigate tough situations and find solutions together. Let’s make our week amazing by being a supportive classmate, communicating respectfully with others, and remembering that every challenge becomes easier when we work together!
Mural at Midvale Elementary!
This week and next in their Art Brain Booster class, our 4th and 5th grade students will be helping muralist Trevor Dahl with designing elements of a mural that will be painted on the wall behind our school basketball courts. We want to open up the opportunity to families to come and help us paint the mural!
If you and your student(s) would like to come to paint on Friday, October 10, after school, please send a ParentSquare message to Heidi Sanger to sign up! We will start painting at approximately 1:30pm. Adults must have an approved Volunteer Application through Canyons School District; you can access that application here: https://volunteer.canyonsdistrict.org/volunteersystem/#!/application/volunteer
Thanksgiving Meals
Thanksgiving Heroes is again offering full, uncooked Thanksgiving meals: a turkey, potatoes, etc. for families to prepare during Thanksgiving week. If you feel that this would be helpful for your family and would like a meal provided to you, application forms are available in the front office at the school. Applications are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

Big Smiles Dental Clinic will be here October 28-30. Consent forms have been sent home with students; you may also complete the consent form online here: https://www.myschooldentist.com/MECAUT_sch if you are interested in having your students go to the dentist here at school.
