  1. Discussion/Approval – Proposed transfer of Cell Tower Funds to the Principal’s Discretionary Fund

We receive $1649 in cell tower funds; Carolee requested to transfer these funds into the Principal’s Discretionary Fund which is typically used to purchase food for teachers during conferences, teacher appreciation week, etc. Caidy motioned to approve; Stephanie seconded. All approved, motion carried.

  1. Land Trust / TSSP updates and review
  • TSSA $47,504.61 remaining
  • LandTrust $66,590.20 remaining

  1. Discussion of Land Trust and Teacher and Student Success Plans for the 25-26 school year

Carolee provided the proposed plan to members, reviewing the goals, action plan/strategies, costs for Reading, Math, and PBIS (climate goal – Positive Behavior Interventions). It has not yet been presented to the teachers and BLT, though BLT developed the goals. Any changes requested by teachers would be presented to SCC at the next SCC meeting. Estimated projections: TSSA Allocation $141,660.68, LAND Trust Allocation $105,523.41.

Discussed how home visits work and answered questions presented by members. Home visits are proposed under the PBIS goal/strategies.

Lyndzi noted that she would like to see additional field trips. Discussed that students get energized by field trips and enjoy experiences they normally would not have. Consider increasing the amount allocated to $4000 which would account for 2 field trips per grade level. Teachers can also bring opportunities into the school as well.

Stephanie motioned to approve the plan; Lyndzi seconded. Lyndzi also moved to review it in April if there are any changes; Caidy seconded. All approved; motion carried. Members signed off on the plan.

  1. School Safety Report

Last month was a HOLD drill for a HAZMAT situation. It went well. This month will be a CO2 drill (evacuation).

No other items noted.

  1. Adjourn

Stephanie motioned to adjourn the meeting; Kikey seconded the motion. Meeting adjourned at 4:51pm.
