- School staff are catching students being kind this week! Students who are “caught” are entered into a drawing to win cool prizes at the end of each school day! It’s cool to be kind!
Monday: Be Kind to Teachers and our School Community
Give our school a “Heart Attack” – We will put hearts with kind messages all over the school!Tuesday: VALENTINE’S DAY – Be Kind to our Friends and Classmates
WEAR RED, PINK, OR WHITE – Valentine’s Day celebrations will be in classrooms!Wednesday: Be Kind to Yourself
WEAR A KINDNESS SHIRT – Teachers will have a special project in class!Thursday: Be Kind to our Community
WEAR A MIDVALE SHIRT – We will clean up our school grounds at recess!Friday: Be Kind to Your Family
DRESS UP LIKE ONE OF YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS! – Put your heart sticker on our school poster to tell us how you can be kind to your family!

- Attendance Message: Did you know? Children who are 15 minutes late each day, or leave 15 minutes early, lose the equivalent of 10 days of learning over the school year!
- Weekly Numbers for February 6 – 10:
- We had an average of 87 students absent each day last week, with 123 students gone on Friday. Let’s keep working on this! If you are having trouble getting your student to school, please reach out to your student’s teacher or our administrative team, Mrs. Reynolds, Mrs. Caldwell, or Ms. Mackay. We are all here to help!

- Weekly Numbers for February 6 – 10:
- PTA’s Classic Skate Night at Classic Fun Center will be this Friday, February 17, from 5:00 – 9:00pm. Flyers were sent home with students today, and our PTA has sent out a ParentSquare message as well.
- Our Building Leader Team, consisting of our Principal, Assistant Principals, Instructional Coaches, a Teacher from each grade level and the resource team, worked together to create a set of Midvale Commitments. These were shared with our faculty, and now we would like to share them with our families. Each week we will share one of the six areas of focus:
