Example – February’s Email:

This month we are celebrating Digital Citizenship Week,  a great opportunity to ensure that your students are developing the skills needed to become positive digital citizens.  As a district, we have put together some lessons for you to use, if you would like to celebrate Digital Citizenship week February 16th-18th. You can find those lessons here. Here is your February Digital Citizenship Tip: Hang this poster up in your room to help remind students of five important characteristics of a good digital citizen.

Land Trust and TSSP Plan 2021-2022  We will continue this discussion during the March 22, 2021 meeting.  (Final Plan is due on April 13th)

    • Beginning to talk with teachers about specific grade level goals for next year. Meeting with district support and Achievement Coaches on Wednesday to analyze data and start problem solving.

  • Proposed spending similar to last year’s plan shown below:  Salaries and Benefits for Interventionists, Dreambox licenses, BB Art Tech

Current Literacy Goal:  By June of  2021, 60% of Midvale students in each grade will have made typical or above typical growth in reading fluency and math computation as measured by Acadience benchmark assessments and progress monitoring.

Cell Tower Funds: ($2,700) I would like to use this account for Parent Teacher Conference meals, and help PTA with Thursday’s conference meal and Teacher Appreciation this year. Request from Principal Reynolds to move $700 into Principal’s Discretion Account for Friday Fun (teacher morale), student mask wearing incentives, and thank you’s for the Family Learning Center.
